lilly wanted me to make her a hat. thus i did. i used kelbourne woolens' wesley pattern. its a slip-stitch based pattern that makes for a quick and enjoyable knit. i made size two for extra slouchy-ness.


i'm a fan of the bars created around the work by slipping stitches with the yarn in front. it creates a lot of visual interest without adding complexity.
